Telling our family and friends about our profession can be a daunting task. Whether you choose to or reveal it or not, you need to have a support network of supportive, understanding and empathic individuals. There is ample support online, but you can also find great support in other working ladies, in open-minded friends, and in sex worker meetup groups and events.
Working in this stressful field means you need to be attentive about your mental health, and guard your peace of mind. Exercise self-care and learn to communicate with those who respect and support you.
